This Is Not Assembly-Line Chiropractic

At Inlet Crossing Chiropractic, care is personal, focused, and designed around how your body actually moves.

Dr. Paul combines chiropractic care, SoftWave therapy, movement analysis, recovery work, and practical exercise recommendations to help your body function better — not just temporarily feel better.

What We Treat

Care Designed Around Movement, Recovery, and Performance

Chiropractic Care

Precise chiropractic adjustments to help improve spinal motion, joint mechanics, posture, mobility, and overall body function.
Best for:
Back stiffness, neck tension, limited motion, SI joint irritation, shoulder restriction, hip tightness, and general movement problems.

SoftWave Therapy

SoftWave is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic wave technology to stimulate the body’s natural healing response.
Best for:
Plantar fascia irritation, tendon issues, shoulder soreness, knee stiffness, hip discomfort, low back tightness, and recovery support.

Pickleball Performance Care

On-court and in-office movement assessment for pickleball players who want to move better, recover quicker, and reduce recurring stress on the body.
Best for:
Court movement, rotation, balance, footwork, recovery, shoulder mobility, hip mobility, and staying competitive.

Golf Mobility Care

Care focused on spinal rotation, hip mobility, balance, shoulder movement, and body mechanics for golfers who want a smoother, more efficient swing.
Best for:
Back stiffness, poor rotation, hip restriction, shoulder tightness, and inconsistent movement mechanics.

SoftWave Therapy: Helping the Body Heal Itself

SoftWave therapy is used to help stimulate the body’s natural repair response. It may help improve blood flow, reduce tissue irritation, support cellular activity, and assist recovery in areas that have become stiff, sore, or slow to heal.

Our Values

Who We Help

Whether it’s a nagging knee, a stiff back, or a shoulder that won’t quit, we help active adults 40+ stay in the game without giving up the activities they live for.
PICKLEBALL PLAYERS
GOLFERS
ACTIVE ADULTS 40+
FITNESS ENTHUSIASTS

Pickleball Players: Your Body Is Your Equipment

Pickleball is fast, rotational, repetitive, and demanding on the feet, knees, hips, back, shoulders, and neck. Small movement problems can become bigger problems when you keep playing through them.

Better Movement Can Mean a Better Swing

A restricted spine, tight hips, limited shoulder motion, or poor balance can affect your golf swing. Dr. Paul evaluates how your body moves so care can be focused on the areas that matter most.

You Are Not Too Old. You Just Need a Smarter Plan.

Aging does not mean giving up activity. But the body does need better maintenance, better recovery, and better movement habits.
At Inlet Crossing Chiropractic, care is designed for adults who want to keep walking, playing, golfing, traveling, exercising, gardening, and living without feeling limited.

“My goal is simple: help you move better, recover better, and continue doing the things you love.”

Meet Dr. Paul Trinkoff

Your Team Doctor for Retirement
From the Locker Room to the Living Room
For over 20 years, I worked the medical tent at the NYC Marathon and now serve as team doctor for the Brooklyn Pickleball Club of Major League Pickleball and the NCAA Division II regional champion Dominican University golf team. Here’s what I’ve learned: active adults deserve the same precision and attention to mechanics as professional athletes. The biomechanics of a pickleball serve matter just as much as any elite sport. Your retirement years should be your best playing years — and you deserve that level of care.
Posture Correction
I bring the efficiency and expertise you'd expect from a New York practice to Murrells Inlet. Direct answers. No run-around. No gimmicks.
Whether you're a transplant from the Northeast or a lifelong local, you'll appreciate a straightforward approach: we diagnose the problem, explain it clearly, fix the engineering, and get you back to the court, course, or trail as quickly and safely as possible.
My Philosophy
You aren't "old"—you're an athlete in the second half. Your body is high-performance equipment that deserves a smarter maintenance schedule than it had at 20.
My aim is to educate you about how your body works, fix the engineering problem causing your pain, and give you the tools to stay independent and active for decades to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

For Active Adults 40+ Who Want to Stay on the Court

No, we operate on a 100% cash-based model. This allows us to focus entirely on what YOU need, not what an insurance company will approve. We can use advanced tools like laser therapy and spinal decompression without waiting for pre-authorization. Many patients use their HSA or FSA cards to pay, which makes it tax-advantaged. You'll know the cost upfront—no surprise denials or billing headaches.

That's actually common. Most approaches focus on the symptom (the pain) rather than the cause (the engineering problem). Our Bionomics approach is different—we look at how your anatomy interacts with your environment and activities. We fix the setup, not just the symptom. If you haven't addressed the mechanical root cause, the pain keeps coming back.

Traditional chiropractic often focuses on spinal adjustments alone. We combine adjustments with Bionomics (biomechanics + ergonomics), movement assessment, and Elite Fitness training. You don't just get adjusted—you get a complete plan that includes exercises, ergonomic modifications, and education so you can maintain your results long-term.

Absolutely not. We treat you like an athlete regardless of your current fitness level. Whether you're a competitive pickleballer or someone who just wants to walk the beach without pain, you deserve the same level of expert care. The biomechanics are the same—your body is a machine that needs proper maintenance.

Many patients feel some relief after the first visit, but meaningful, lasting change typically takes 2-6 visits depending on the complexity of your problem. We're focused on short-term, results-driven care. Dr. Paul will give you realistic expectations during your first visit—no over-promising, no automatic long-term contracts.

Investment varies based on your specific needs and treatment plan. Dr. Paul will discuss costs transparently during your first visit after he understands your situation. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges. Many patients find that avoiding surgery, missed activities, or ongoing pain medication makes this a worthwhile investment in their quality of life.

Ready to Move Better?

Whether you play pickleball, golf, walk the beach, garden, travel, exercise, or simply want to feel better in your body, Dr. Paul can help you understand what is limiting your movement and what can be done about it.
